LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team (11-2, 5-1 NSIC) remains ranked at No. 11 in the recent AVCA Top 25 Coaches' Poll, released Monday afternoon.
 
SMSU defeated Sioux Falls in a gritty five-set match last Thursday, before sweeping Augustana on Saturday.
 
SMSU is one of four teams from the NSIC represented in the top 25. Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul remain at No. 2 and No. 5 respectively for the third straight week. St. Cloud State falls two spots to No. 15, and Minnesota Duluth rises one spot to No. 19.
 
The Mustangs begin play this week inside the PE Gym on Tuesday against No. 2 ranked Wayne State at 6 p.m. SMSU then travels to North Dakota this weekend, facing Minot State on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by UMary on Saturday at 11 a.m.
