Biography

2007-8 (Junior): Played in 28 games and started in 26... had a career-high 19 points versus Northern State on Dec. 7, 2007... lead the Mustangs with 48 blocks on the season... had a career-high 12 rebounds versus Bemidji State on Nov. 30, 2007... ranked third in blocked shots in the NSIC and 22nd in NSIC scoring... finished the season 263 total points, a 9.4 point per game average... shot 50.7 percent from the field... had 115 total rebounds, a 4.1 rebounds per game average.

2006-07 (Sophomore): Played in 22 games... scored a season high 13 points versus No. 18 ranked Northern State on Feb. 2, 2007...  had a season high six rebounds against MSU Moorhead on Jan. 20, 2007... finished the season with a total of 94 points and a 4.3 point per game average... shot 44 percent from field goal range and had 49 rebounds on the season... saw limited playing time toward end of season due to an injury.

2005-06 (Freshman): Played in 26 games... started in four games... had an average of 2.5 points per game...was 80 percent from the free-throw line... had a season high of six points on Dec. 31, 2005 against Augustana (S.D.)... played 10 minutes in her Mustang debut against No. 8 North Dakota on Nov. 19.

Cannon Falls High School: 2005 graduate of Cannon Falls HS ... comes to SMSU after being a three-year letterwinner at Cannon Falls Highs School and leading her team to a section championship in 2004-05...her 49 percent career shooting percentage is the school record while her 133 blocks in the 2004-05 season is a Cannon Falls High School single season record...while leading her team to the section championship her senior season, Kimmes averaged 12.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game...in her three-year career she averaged 7.1 points per game while grabbing 4.7 boards per game and blocking a total of 256 shots.

Personal: Born August 27, 1986... daughter of Dave and Cindy Kimmes... exercise science major.
