High School: 2006 graduate of Cedar Rapids Xavier HS ... helped lead the Saints to three straight Iowa Class 3A State Tournament appearances ... finished his career as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,199 points, while grabbing 587 career rebounds, 200 career assists, 191 career steals and 99 career blocked shots ... 2006 academic all-state honoree ... averaged 12.8 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game as a senior earning first team all-conference, first team all-metro and second team all-state accolades ... was also a McDonald’s All-America nominee ... as a junior he averaged 14.8 ppg and 6.7 rpg while earning second team all-state honors ... was also a standout in soccer and track earning all-conference honors in both sports and helping lead Xavier to the 2005 state soccer championship.
