DeMasi Notes:  Top returning scorer for SMSU in 2008-09 ... also led the team in rebounding last season with 6.8 per game ... shot 56.4 percent from the field, the highest by an SMSU player since 1999-2000 ... has recorded seven career double-doubles ... was a member of the SMSU football team from 2004-06 ... led the 2006 Mustang football team with 439 yards receiving and three touchdowns ... signed with SMSU on July 20, 2004.
 
2007-08 (Junior): Started all 29 games ... one of three players to start every game ... finished third on the team in scoring with 9.6 points per game ... led team in rebounding with 6.8 per game ... shot 56.4 percent from the field ... led team with 14 blocked shots ... scored career-high 20 points in overtime win over Sioux Falls (11/16) ... scored in double figures in 14 games ... led team in rebounding 22 times ... recorded team-high five double-doubles ... connected on 10 of 13 free throws in win over Upper Iowa (3/1) ... tied career-high with 12 rebounds vs. Northern State (3/7).

2006-07 (Sophomore): Played in 27 of 30 games ... missed three games early in the season after joining the team late following the football season ... averaged 14.0 minutes, 4.0 points and 3.9 rebounds ... shot 59.4 percent (38-for-64) from the field, the highest shooting percentage on the team ... scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds in win over Bemidji State (12/2) ... scored season-high 12 points, hitting 4 of 5 from the field and 4 of 5 from the free throw line, and had five rebounds and three steals in win over Upper Iowa on (1/5) ... recorded second career double-double with 11 rebounds and 10 points, while hitting first career three-pointer in win at Upper Iowa (2/10) ... scored in 22 of 27 games and scored in double figures twice ... grabbed at least one rebound in 26 games.

2005-06 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 28 games and made ten starts ... averaged 15.8 minutes per game ... played double figure minutes in 24 of 28 games ... shot 46 of 84 from the field for 54.8 percent ... averaged 4.5 ppg and 4.4 rpg ... finished second on the team in rebounding ... poured in season-high 12 points and grabbed season-high 12 rebounds in recording first career double-double in home win over Concordia (1/13) ... started nine straight games from Jan. 7 to Feb. 10 ... made first career start versus Northern State (1/7) ... missed one game with sickness ... had six or more rebounds in seven games ... scored 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting in loss to Bemidji State (2/11) ... had seven or more rebounds in five games.

2004-05 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: 2004 graduate of Missisquoi Valley HS ... as a senior averaged 21.3 points, 14.9 rebounds and 4.8 blocks per game while being named the Lake Division Player of the Year  ...  team captain as a senior, he was also selected to play in the North-South Senior All-Star game and was a 2004 Vermont McDonald’s All-American nominee.
