High School: 2009 graduate of Luverne HS ... played for coach Mike Wenninger ... three-time all-conference honoree ... named 2008 Southwest Conference player of the year ... played in Lions All-Star series ... three-time all-section honoree ... led team to state tournament ... finished career with .550 average with 11 home runs and 113 RBI ... also recorded 13 victories on the mound with a 1.20 ERA and 121 strikeouts ... also played hockey and football ... named 2008 Southwest Conference linebacker of the year ... two-time all-conference in football.
