2006-07 (Redshirt Freshman): SMSU’s top reserve, averaging 20.4 minutes while playing in all 30 games ... averaged 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists ... led the Mustangs with 83 assists and finished third with 26 steals ... finished 26th in NCAA Division II shooting 85.2 percent (78-for-88) from the free throw line ... ranked eighth in highest single-season free throw percentage in SMSU history ... ranked ninth in the NSIC in conference games in assists per game with 2.8 and eighth in free throw percentage at 84.0 percent (42-for-50) ... scored 13 points and had season-high four steals against No. 16 South Dakota (11/20) ... dished out season-high seven assists in win against Northern State (12/9) ... poured in season-high 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for first career double-double in win over MSU Moorhead (2/23) ... pulled down 10 rebounds the following night as well in win over Concordia ... scored in double figures eight times ... had four or more assists 11 times.

2005-06 (Redshirt): Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School: 2005 graduate of Marshalltown HS ... as a senior served as co-captain and averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game ... also finished the year shooting 43 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free throw line ... a two-time all-conference selection ... as a senior was named to the Iowa Newspaper Association’s Class 4A (large schools) second team all-state squad, the Des Moines Register all-elite squad, the Marshalltown Times-Republican all-area first team and the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association all-district team ... hit three game-winning shots as a senior leading his team to a 16-7 record and a runner-up finish in the section playoffs ... scored 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting in a in section finals ... led Marshalltown to back-to-back conference championships including a berth into the 2004 Iowa Class 4A state tournament ... named first team all-conference and all-area player of the year as quarterback.
