Before SMSU: Played two seasons at Ellsworth Community College ... played in 36 games with 25 starts in 2019 recording three home runs and three doubles with 16 RBIs.

2021: Played and started 32 games ... batted .265 with seven doubles, one triple and two home runs ... led team with 28 runs scored and added 18 RBIs ... had three hits and three RBIs at Augustana (3/25) ... collected two doubles and two walks vs. UMary (5/2) ... also had three hits at Minnesota Crookston (4/22) ... named SMSU's Most Inspirational Player.

2020: Played in four games with two starts and batted .333 with three hits ... had a home run, a double with two RBIs and two runs scored vs. Waldorf (3/10) ... also had one hit at Missouri Southern (3/22).

High School: 2017 graduate of Red Wing HS ... helped team to the 2017 Class 3A state tournament ... team captain ... selected all-conference as a senior ... named honorable mention all-conference as a junior.

Personal: Born Nov. 2, 1998 ... son of Ann and Justin Smith ... marketing major / minor in coaching.
