2009:  Started eight games ... recorded a 1-3 record with a 6.64 ERA and 34 strikeouts ... picked up his first win versus Minnesota, Crookston going seven innings and striking out eight ... had a season-best outing versus University of Mary going six innings, giving up one run and striking out eight.

Before SMSU: Played two seasons at Ridgewater College ... coached by Dwight Kotila ... was 7-3 with a 1.48 ERA in 66 innings with 59 strikeouts, just 14 walks and a .242 opponents' batting average in 11 starts in 2008 ... was 3-0 with a 2.67 ERA in 2007.

High School: 2005 graduate of St. Cloud Apollo High School ... coached by Mike Gregory ... two-year letterwinner ... all-conference as a junior ... also lettered in football.
