SMSU Athletics Hall of Honor Guidelines
The SMSU Athletics Hall of Honor was established in 1992 to honor achievements and to preserve the tradition of those athletes, coaches, teams and others who have contributed in various ways to strengthening the athletic tradition at Southwest Minnesota State University.
The Hall of Honor is the highest athletic award recognition given to any individual or team at Southwest Minnesota State University. Recognition will be based upon athletic achievement as a student-athlete within a respective conference, district, region or national competition. Further, contributions to teams or the athletic programs by coaches, faculty, staff, administrators, Booster Club members, business and community members and other special individuals also may merit induction.
