High School: 2007 graduate of Kennedy HS ... played for coach and former SMSU player, Matt Hanson ... three-year letterwinner ... team captain ... named All-Lake Conference as a senior ... team’s most valuable player and best defensive player ... batted .450 as a senior with just three strikeouts the entire season ... hit .306 with 24 runs scored as a junior ... led Bloomington’s American Legion team in batting average (.342), slugging percentage (.479) and on-base percentage (.429)  in 2006 ... also lettered in football.
