Jen Hanson is in her second year as head cheerleading coach and Development/Marketing Assistant at SMSU in 2009-10. In addition to her duties with the cheerleading program, Hanson assists in marketing and management for all SMSU games and special events.
A native of Turtle Lake, N.D., Hanson was a member of the cheerleading squad at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She earned her degree in English from GU in 2007. Following graduation she spent two years at Athletes for Hope, a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC while also serving as the head cheerleading coach at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Md., during the 2008-09 academic year.
Hanson is pursuing her master's of business administration at SMSU.
