Adam Schumacher is in his second year as an assistant coach with the SMSU men's basketball team in 2023-24. He also serves as an assistant in the athletic development/marketing office for SMSU Athletics.
Schumacher is a 2022 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in exercise physiology and a minor in coaching. He was an assistant men's basketball coach at Gustavus for three seasons and has also been an assistant coach with the Minnesota Rise AAU program.
Schumacher assists in game management and marketing for SMSU athletic events as well as other special projects throughout the academic year.
Schumacher is pursuing his master's degree in physical education/coaching of sport at SMSU.
