Brandon Polesky begins his second season as an assistant coach for the SMSU men's basketball program in 2019-20.
Polesky joined the Mustang staff after a two-year playing career on the Gustavus men's basketball team. He then joined the coaching staff as a student assistant coach for two years. Polesky graduated from Gustavus in 2018 with a degree in physical education and health with a coaching minor.
Polesky, who has coached AAU Basketball for the past six years, led the D1 MN rise 16U team to over 20 wins competing against the top programs in the Midwest during the 2018 season.
He is pursuing his master's degree from SMSU.
