James Wallace is in his fourth season on the SMSU coaching staff in 2014-15 and second as a graduate assistant coach. Wallace, who served as a student assistant coach for SMSU from 2011-13, helps in all facets of the program.
Wallace, a native of Bellevue, Neb., came to SMSU in 2010 and spent one season on the men's basketball team as a redshirt. He joined the coaching staff in 2011 following injuries that ended his playing career.
Wallace played two seasons at Iowa Western C.C. prior to attending SMSU.Â
He is a 2013 graduate of SMSU with a degree in marketing and is pursuing his MBA at SMSU.
