Before SMSU: Played two seasons at Minnesota State Community and Technical College-Fergus Falls ... as a sophomore averaged 9.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game ... earned MCAC all-division honors as sophomore and freshman ... also earned the team’s Defensive Player of the Year and Mr. Toughness awards following senior season ... finished his two-year career at MSCTC-Fergus Falls ranking second all-time in steals. 

High School: A 2008 graduate of Minneapolis Henry High School ... played for coach Jerry Williams ... averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game as a senior.

Personal: Born April 9, 1989 ... son of Georgetta Vaughn ... justice administration major.
