2012-13: Joined the team in mid-December following the conclusion of his four-year football career at SMSU ... played in 32 career games for the SMSU football program, including making 23 starts at quarterback ... finished career passing for 5,599 yards and 43 touchdowns, while also rushing for 661 yards and 12 touchdowns ... ranks eighth in school history in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

High School: 2008 graduate of Marshalltown HS ... named all-conference in basketball, football and baseball.

Personal: Born Oct. 21, 1989 ... son of Mike and Lea Ann Peschong ... marketing major ... brother Andrew Peschong was a four-year member of the SMSU men’s basketball team.
