Clare Duwelius is in her second season as an assistant coach for SMSU in 2013-14.
Duwelius, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, is no stranger to the NSIC, having been a four-year standout at Wayne State College. Duwelius concluded her career as the program’s all-time leader in 3-point field goals made (252) and was named first team All-NSIC in 2012, helping lead Wayne State to the NCAA Elite Eight. The 2009 NSIC Freshman of the Year, Duwelius finished her four-year career with a record of 99-25.
Duwelius, a 2012 graduate of WSC with a degree in sports management, is pursuing her MBA at SMSU.
