Maegan Flight is in her first season as an assistant coach with the SMSU women's tennis program in 2021-22.
Flight arrived at SMSU in the fall of 2020 to play her final season of collegiate tennis. During her one season in 2021, she earned first team All-NSIC honors and led SMSU with 11 singles victories at No. 1. She closed the season 9-1 in NSIC matches and also earned seven victories in doubles play.
Prior to SMSU, Flight played four seasons at the University of Illinois-Springfield where she finished among the top two on the UIS team in singles victories in each of her first three seasons, compiling a record of 39-17. She also won 25 matches in doubles play prior to the 2019-20 season. She compiled a record of 9-4 in singles play during the 2019-20 season before the season was canceled in March of 2020.
Flight is a graduate of Illinois-Springfield and is pursuing her master's degree at SMSU.
