THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University men's basketball team (9-6, 4-5 NSIC) returns to the road this weekend with Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games at No. 23 Augustana College (14-2, 7-2 NSIC) in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Friday, Jan. 22, and Wayne State College (8-8, 5-4 NSIC) in Wayne, Neb., on Saturday, Jan. 23.  Friday night's game is slated to tip-off at 8 p.m. at the Elmen Center, while Saturday's game is set for 6 p.m. at Rice Auditorium.  Friday night's game is a rematch of last season's NCAA region championship game in which SMSU earned a 73-60 victory in Marshall to earn its second NCAA region championship in program history.
    SMSU begins the weekend in eighth place in the NSIC standings, while Augie is tied for second place and WSC is tied for fifth place.

FRIDAY'S GAME ON TELEVISION: Friday night's game will be televised live by Midcontinent Communications from Sioux Falls, S.D.  Midcontinent is available on cable systems throughout the states of Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota.  Al Bahe and Tom Neiman will handle the broadcast.
