OPENING TIP
The Southwest Minnesota State University (5-5, 2-4 NSIC) men's basketball team will take a week off before returning to practice on Dec. 27 in preparation for a pair of home games on Jan. 1-2, 2011, at the R/A Facility.

SMSU will take on the University of Minnesota, Crookston (5-4, 1-4 NSIC) on Saturday, Jan. 1, with tip-off slated for 6 p.m., before facing Minnesota State Moorhead (6-3, 3-2 NSIC) on Sunday, Jan. 2, starting at 5 p.m.  MSUM?will play at Minnesota State, Mankato on Jan. 1 prior to taking on the Mustangs.
