GAME NOTES (PDF)

THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball team (3-5, 0-0 NSIC) returns to action on Wednesday, March 24, with a non-conference doubleheader versus Dakota Wesleyan University (12-7) in Mitchell, S.D.  First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Drake Field in Mitchell.  It will be the home opener for DWU, which is a member of NAIA and competes in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

SMSU will then open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this weekend, March 27-28, taking on Northern State University (3-16, 0-4 NSIC).  The four-game series is scheduled for Alumni Field in Marshall, but poor field conditions could force the series to be moved.  More information, including game time and location will be announced on Thursday.
