GAME NOTES

The Southwest Minnesota State University (6-6, 3-5 NSIC) men's basketball team begins a three-game road trip this Saturday, Jan. 8, when it takes on conference-leading and No. 12 Minnesota State, Mankato (11-1, 7-1 NSIC) starting at 4 p.m. at the Taylor Center on the MSU?campus.  

Following this Saturday's game, SMSU will play at University of Mary and Northern State on Jan. 14-15, to conclude the first half of the 22-game conference season.  SMSU plays seven of its first 11 conference games on the road.
