OPENING TIP
The Southwest Minnesota State University (12-13, 9-13 NSIC) men's basketball team, currently in eighth place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings, closes out the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 26, hosting conference-leading and No. 6-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato at the R/A Facility starting at 8 p.m.  MSU clinched a share of the NSIC?regular season championship last Saturday and can secure the outright title with a victory this Saturday night or a loss by the University of Mary.

SMSU can secure the No. 8 seed in the upcoming NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament with a victory on Saturday night.  If SMSU loses, it must await for results from around the conference to determine if it qualifies for the tournament.
