THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball team (10-5, 0-0 NSIC) opens Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this weekend with a four-game series at Upper Iowa University (7-10, 3-1 NSIC) on Saturday and Sunday in Fayette, Iowa.  Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1 p.m., with Sunday's twinbill beginning at 12 p.m.  Upper Iowa will play a non-conference doubleheader at Lewis University (Ill.) on Wednesday before hosting SMSU.
