THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball team (19-12, 9-7 NSIC) continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Tuesday afternoon taking on Northern State University (12-19, 5-11 NSIC) at Alumni Field to open an eight-game homestand.  The doubleheader is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.  Following Tuesday's games, SMSU will host Wayne State College this weekend for a four-game series and the close out the homestand on Wednesday, April 25, versus the University of Minnesota Duluth.
