Head coach Cory Sauter featured this week on "Life to the Max" television show

MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University head football coach Cory Sauter will be featured this Saturday on the television show "Life to the Max", which airs on Saturday night at 11:05 on WCCO-TV, Channel 4 Minneapolis.

Cory Sauter – who just completed his fourth season as head coach at SMSU - was a high school quarterback in Hutchinson, Minn., studying under legendary coach Grady Rostberg and drawing national attention as a top college prospect. He landed at the University of Minnesota and developed into a Big 10 starter. Host Mike Max sits down with Cory to hear how the strong work ethic he learned at a young age led to a career in the NFL. "Life to the Max" follows his path, where it took him to Marshall, Minn., as the head coach at SMSU.

Tune in to "Life to the Max" at 11:05 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, on WCCO-TV Channel 4 for this homegrown Minnesota athlete.

Sauter helped lead SMSU to one of the best seasons in program history this fall. The Mustangs finished 7-5 overall, recorded a fourth place finish in the 16-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and played in the Mineral Water Bowl.
