THIS WEEK - The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball team (2-2) returns to action after a 10-day break with a non-conference doubleheader versus Concordia-St. Paul (3-3) on Wednesday at the Metrodome in Minneapolis starting at 11:45 a.m. The two teams will play a pair of 7-inning games. SMSU continues play in the Metrodome next week with a doubleheader versus Mayville State (N.D.) on Tuesday, March 5.
SERIES HISTORY - Southwest Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul are 16-16 all-time versus each other since the first meeting during the 1981 season. The teams played eight times last season with CU winning five times. CU won three of four games played in Tucson, Ariz., before the teams split a four-game NSIC series in St. Paul, Minn. Steven Wehr tossed five-plus shutout innings in SMSU's 7-2 eight inning win over Upper Iowa on Feb. 14.

Travis McGlauflin earned his first career victory tossing four-plus innings, allowing one hit in a 7-3 victory over the University of Mary on Feb. 17.

Ben Korger and Young both have two multi-hit games this season.
