THIS WEEK -
The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball team (17-18, 8-11 NSIC) will host Concordia-St. Paul (19-11, 11-9 NSIC) in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader on Tuesday at Alumni Field with first pitch slated for 1:30 p.m. The series was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but due to rain in the forecast, the games were moved up one day. SMSU begins the week ninth in the NSIC standings, while CU is in seventh place.

SERIES HISTORY - Concordia-St. Paul leads the all-time series versus Southwest Minnesota State 19-18 ... this will be just the second time - and first since 2000 - that CU has played in Marshall ... SMSU defeated CU twice during the 2000 season at Legion Field in Marshall ... the two teams split a non-conference twinbill earlier this season in Tucson, Ariz., with SMSU winning 9-4, before CU won game two 5-4 ... CU leads the series 8-5 since the 2012 season ... SMSU head coach Paul Blanchard is 14-19 all-time versus CU.
