> Live Stats THIS WEEK: Southwest Minnesota State University (1-2 NSIC, 0-0 NSIC South) returns to Marshall to take on Northern State University (1-2 NSIC, 0-0 NSIC North) on Saturday, Sept. 27, in the annual Ag Bowl game. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Mattke Field at the Schwan Regional Event Center. It's SMSU's final game versus NSIC North Division squads before beginning NSIC South Division play next Saturday at nationally ranked Minnesota State.
AG BOWL: Saturday's game concludes a day of celebration of agriculture in Minnesota and features numerous events for both kids and adults. Proceeds generated by the Ag Bowl will fund scholarships and programming for worthy SMSU student-athletes and young people who will dedicate their careers to business success in agriculture, environmental science and the food industries.
SMSU ALL-TIME ON AG BOWL: SMSU is 3-4 all-time in Ag Bowl games, including losing the last two versus St. Cloud State (2013) and U-Mary (2012).
A VICTORY FOR SMSU ON SATURDAY WOULD...: •Be its second straight over Northern State and fifth in the last six meetings.
•Move its record to 4-4 all-time in Ag Bowl games.
•Be its third straight over NSU in games played in Marshall.
•Lift SMSU's all-time record to 178-294-5, including 116-200-5 in conference play.
SMSU STORYLINES: •SMSU had three defensive starters - defensive end

Donovan Woods - miss last week's game versus UMD with injuries.
•SMSU has held opponents to just 12 of 45 (27 percent) on third-down conversions, ranking 16th best in Division II.

Mike Wenk leads the NSIC in punting with a 46.8 yard average and ranks second in Division II.
•Wenk tied a career-high with a 42-yard field goal versus UMC in week two.
•Wenk booted three field goals in the win over UMC in week two becoming the first SMSU kicker to make three field goals in a game since 2007.

Jacob Levtzow recorded a career-high with six tackles versus UMD last week.
•SMSU's seven points scored last week versus UMD was its lowest since losing 38-0 to Minnesota State on Nov. 5, 2011.
•UMD rushed for 462 yards last week which is the most by an opponent since Bemidji State had 437 on Sept. 17, 2011.
•SMSU has scored 30 or more points in 17 of its last 27 games dating back to the final game of the 2011 season.
•SMSU's 56 points in week two versus Minnesota Crookston was its highest point total since scoring 63 versus South Dakota Tech in 2006.

Charlie Kern rushed for a career-high 62 yards and a career-high three touchdowns in week two versus Minnesota Crookston.
•SMSU scored 50 or more points in four games last season setting a new program record. SMSU scored 40 or more points in six games in 2013, ranking second behind the 1991 team which holds the record with eight 40-point games.

Tyler Tonderum ranks 16th among all active players in Division II with 2,332 career rushing yards.
•Tonderum has a school record four 200-yard rushing games in his career.
•Tonderum set the SMSU single-season record for rushing touchdowns last season with 19.
•Tonderum finished the 2013 season ranked 14th in Division II in scoring with 19 rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown. He scored at least two touchdowns in seven games.
