MUSTANG DEFENSE WITH BIG TIME PERFORMANCE: The SMSU defense was outstanding in last week's victory over high-powered MSU Moorhead. The MSUM offense entered the game averaging 494 yards per game, but was held to just 275 yards and 14 first downs. SMSU was dominant in the second half, limiting MSUM to just 50 yards of offense and two first downs.
