MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Mustang Booster Club hosted the 31st annual "David and Carol Drown SMSU Classic" on Friday, June 10, at the Marshall Golf Club. 
 
The team of McLauglin Farms teams of Doug Krogen, Tom McLaughlin, Tim Deutz, Chad Michaelson and Brent Haukom won the five-person scramble golf tournament with a score of 50. The Ralco team of Brian Knochenmus, Mike Nelson, Troy Deutz, Bjorn Peterson and Andy Lanoue took second place with a score of 54.
 
It was a great day to support SMSU Athletics with all proceeds going towards scholarships for SMSU student-athletes. Final numbers are still coming in, but the event is expected to raise more than $13,000.
