INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division II volleyball tournament selection show will air tonight via webcast at NCAA.com starting at 6:30 p.m. CST. The top eight teams in each of the eight regions will earn a berth to the 64-team NCAA Division II volleyball tournament.

New this year, the NCAA will announce the No. 1 seeds in each of the regions within an hour of the show on the Division II
Facebook and
Twitter pages.

Southwest Minnesota State has received an automatic bid for the tournament following yesterday's victory in the championship match of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament. SMSU was ranked No. 2 in last week's NCAA Central Region rankings.

SMSU, 28-3 overall, will be making its 14
th straight NCAA tournament appearance and 15
th overall.

The Central Region is made up of teams from the NSIC, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC).

Arkansas Tech (GAC) and Nebraska-Kearney (MIAA) each won its conference tournament this weekend and have earned automatic bids to the NCAA Central Region Tournament.

The No. 1 seed will host the regional tournament on Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.
