THE GAMES
•The Southwest Minnesota State University men's basketball team (20-5, 15-5 NSIC), currently tied atop the NSIC South Division standings, will conclude the regular season with a pair of road games this Friday and Saturday. SMSU will battle Minnesota State University (18-8, 13-7 NSIC) on Friday night with tip-off slated for 8 p.m. at the Taylor Center in Mankato. On Saturday night, SMSU wraps-up the regular season with a match-up versus Concordia-St. Paul (5-22, 2-18 NSIC) with game time set for 6 p.m. at the Gangelhoff Center.
THE STANDINGS
•SMSU begins the weekend tied for first in the NSIC South Division standings and tied for second overall, two games behind MSU Moorhead.
•SMSU will be looking to secure its first NSIC South Division title since divisions were formed prior to the 2012-13 season.
