MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State track & field program hosted the first day of its inaugural Mustang Open outdoor track event on Friday afternoon at the Marshall Regional Track & Field Complex.

The track meet was the opening of both the men's and women's 2017 outdoor track and field seasons and is the first event SMSU has hosted since the program was reinstated in 2014.
