Brad Bigler, the all-time wins leader in program history, is in his ninth season as head coach and has compiled an overall record of 151-108, including 106-84 in conference play.
•Bigler became the all-time wins leader on Dec. 2, 2017, passing Greg Stemen (141, 2001-09).
•The 2012-13 and 2016-17 NSIC Coach of the Year, Bigler has led SMSU to five winning seasons, including one 28-win season and a pair of 19-win seasons.

MUSTANGS SPLIT ROAD GAMES VS. MSUM AND NSU
•SMSU split a pair of NSIC road games last weekend, losing 85-78 to MSU Moorhead, before rebounding with a 64-57 win over No. 7/12 Northern State, 64-57.
•SMSU rallied from a 20-point first half deficit versus MSU Moorhead on Friday, building a four-point lead with 3:16 remaining, but MSUM closed the game on a 13-2 run to earn the victory.

Ryan Bruggeman had his ninth 20-point game of the season with 26 points on a career-high 11 field goals made, with five rebounds and five assists.

•The 21 rebounds is tied for the fourth highest in Division II this season.

BRUGGEMAN SETS SMSU ASSISTS RECORD AND MORE

Ryan Bruggeman broke the program's career assist record on Jan. 19 at Concordia-St. Paul.
•He now has 412 assists in 84 games, breaking the previous record of 396 held by Vinard Birch (2010-14).

Carter Kirk was named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week for the second time this season on Jan. 15.
