MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State baseball program has announced another change of location for an upcoming conference four-game series. Head coach
Paul Blanchard announced SMSU will now play Concordia-St. Paul this Friday and Saturday in Wakefield, Nebraska.
The games were originally scheduled to be played at Alumni Field in Marshall.
Friday's doubleheader will start at 1 p.m., while Saturday's twinbill is set to beging at 12 p.m.
SMSU is 7-11 overall, 2-6 NSIC, after splitting a conference doubleheader with Sioux Falls on Tuesday. CSP is 13-5 overall, 6-2 NSIC, and most recently swept a doubleheader from Bemidji State on Tuesday. The CSP pitching staff has recorded eight shutouts in its last 10 games.
CSP defeated SMSU, 7-2, earlier this season on March 7 in a non-conference game in Tucson, Arizona.
