WINONA, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's swimming & diving team returned to action on Saturday afternoon earning a 109-75 victory over Saint Mary's University.
SMSU, which improves to 2-2 in duals this season, had a first place finish in nearly every race.
Annika Freiburger recorded first place finishes in the 1,000 yard freestyle (11:12), 100 yard butterfly (1:04.30) and 100 yard breaststroke (1:09.9) to pace the Mustangs.
Also winning on Saturday included
MacKenzie Kallevig in the 500 yard freestyle (5:16.97),
Addi Schroeder in the 200 yard freestyle (2:07.09),
Gabriela Reis in the 100 yard freestyle (59.04) and
Madison Hubert (1:02.95) in the 100 yard backstroke.
Megan Nelson registered 204.24 points in the 1-meter dive and 167.93 in the 3-meter dive.
Southwest Minnesota State returns to action on Nov. 8-9 at the Morningside Invite in Sioux City, Iow.
