TUCSON, Ariz. -- Due to poor field conditions at the Kino Sports Complex, the Southwest Minnesota State versus Minot State non-conference baseball game scheduled for Wednesday morning has been canceled.

SMSU, 1-4 overall, will now open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Friday versus Concordia-St. Paul in Joplin, Mo. The three-game series was relocated from St. Paul to Joplin. The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday at 12 p.m., and a single-game on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
