MORRIS, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team returned to action on Saturday afternoon recording first-place finishes in all 13 events in earning a pair of victories at the Minnesota Morris triangular.
SMSU defeated Concordia College, 194-39, and earned a 193-38 victory over Minnesota Morris.
Annika Freiburger won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:32.35, won the 200-yard IM at 2:20.79 and won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:37.12.
MacKenzie Kallevig touched the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle at 25.75 with teammate
Natalie Bohnert in second place at 25.90. Kallevig also picked-up a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:37.50.
Quincie Klein finished in second place in the race with a time of 5:41.21.
Juliana Villa captured first-place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:03.66.
Bohnert won the 100-yard butterfly at 1:00.85,
Addi Schroeder earned a first-place time of 56.58 in the 100-yard freestyle, while
Abbie Christensen won the 200-yard backstroke at 2:20.15.
Sarah McDonald registered 200.45 points in 3-meter diving and racked up 176.50 points in 1-meter diving to take home first-place in both events.
Southwest Minnesota State returns home on Thursday facing MSU Moorhead for a 2 p.m. dual inside the Don Palm Natatorium.
