OWATONNA, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team suffered its first conference loss on Saturday losing 7-0 to No. 16 Augustana inside the West Hill Tennis & Fitness Center.
 
Augustana (6-0, 3-0 NSIC) has now won 131 consecutive NSIC matches dating back to the 2009 season.
 
SMSU, which drops to 8-2 overall, 2-1 NSIC, will concluded the weekend on Sunday in Owatonna with a 7 a.m. match versus Sioux Falls.
 
Courtenay Leonard had a strong match for SMSU at No. 2 singles, but lost 7-6, 6-4 to Flore Hadjigeorgiou.
 
Maja Louise Harck (No. 3) and Kristina Vuksanovic (No. 4) both lost by identical scores of 6-1, 6-2.
