ST. LOUIS -- Southwest Minnesota State University junior Caden Steffen won 3-1 in overtime over Anderson Salisbury from Colorado School of Mines in his first match in the consolation round on Saturday, but lost in his next bout and will compete for fifth place later on Saturday.

Steffen, who locked up All-American honors with a 2-1 record on Friday, lost 7-2 to Billy Higgins from Nebraska-Kearney in the consolation semis.

Steffen will take on Martin Verhaeghe from Fort Hays State for fifth place.
