MARSHALL, Minn. – Due to poor weather, the Southwest Minnesota State baseball Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, has been canceled. Per NSIC rules, the games will not be rescheduled.
 
SMSU (7-8, 0-3 NSIC) is scheduled to return to the diamond this Saturday and Sunday with a three-game series versus the University of Sioux Falls in Brandon, S.D. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1:30 p.m., while Sunday's game is set for 1 p.m. All three games will be played at First National Ballpark - Aspen Park.
