MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State volleyball program has announced its 2022 summer camp dates. The program will host six girls' and boys' camps during the month of July for all age and skill levels.

All Skills & Position Camp: July 11-13
Entering Grades 6th - 10th
•Check in 12:30-1:30 p.m. on July 11 in the RA Facility
Resident Camper: $325 
Commuter Camper: $285 
$100 non-refundable deposit required – Amount is removed from the camp fee. 
 
These camps are designed to offer a balance of training between the general skills of the game, and training on the skills for each specific position. In addition to skill and position training, both camps will include contests and team competition.
 
This camp will include a lot of work on the fundamental skills of volleyball, along with covering the foundational concepts in each position training group. It is a great camp to re-establish your basic skills while learning some position concepts that will help you take your game to the next level. All meals included for Resident and Commuter campers. 
 
Advanced Skills & Position Camp: July 14-16
Entering Grades 8th - 12th 
•Check in 12:30-1:30 p.m. on July 14 in the RA Facility 
Resident Camper: $325 
Commuter Camper: $285
 
These camps are designed to offer a balance of training between the general skills of the game, and training on the skills for each specific position. In addition to skill and position training, both camps will include contests and team competition.
 
This camp is for experienced players who are serious about wanting to take their game to a new level. It combines a fast-paced, high-repetition review of the foundational skills of volleyball, balanced with high intensity position-specific training and plenty of competition to create an action-packed camp. All meals included for Resident and Commuter campers.
 
Boys Camp: July 25-26 
Entering Grades 5th - 12th  
•Check in 1:45 p.m. on July 25 – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., daily in the RA Facility 
•Cost: $50
 
This camp is in its fourth year! This is a great opportunity for boys to learn more about the game of Volleyball. We are looking forward to growing the game for boys in the area!
 
Young Mustangs 2: July 25-27
Entering Grades K – 3rd 
•Check in 8:30 a.m. on July 25 – 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., daily
•Cost: $50
 
This camp is a great opportunity for young players to get introduced to the game of volleyball. Each student will be given basic instruction geared toward their level of experience. In addition to learning the skills there will be games and competition daily.
 
Young Mustangs 1: July 25-27
Entering Grades 4th - 6th 
•Check in 8:30 a.m. on July 25 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., daily
•Cost: $90
 
This camp is a great opportunity for young players to get introduced to the game of volleyball. Each student will be given basic instruction geared toward their level of experience. In addition to learning the skills there will be games and competition daily.
 
The Mustangs will also be hosting a team camp containing 32 varsity teams from July 18-21. The camp is full, but if interested for 2023, contact Head Coach Tyler Boddy.
