MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team hosted three teams on Labor Day weekend for a trio of matches at the Marshall High School.
 
SMSU opened the weekend on Friday with a 5-2 victory over MSU Moorhead, before losing to Nebraska-Kearney, 7-0, on Saturday and 5-2 to Minnesota State on Sunday.
 
Camila Paccieri won singles matches at No. 4 and No. 6, while 
Peyton-Lynn Anderson won a singles match at No. 5, while 
Joana Reis Indio picked-up a singles victory at No. 2.
 
Reis Indio and 
Courtenay Leonard earned a pair of victories at No. 1 doubles. 
Roz Oye and Anderson had one doubles victory at No. 3, while 
Faith Madikwe and 
Daniela Poulakidas recorded a victory at No. 2 doubles.
 
SMSU will return to action during the traditional spring season starting in February.
