MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's swimming & diving team lost a sprint dual to the University of Sioux Falls Cougars. The Cougars won by a final score of 178-93.
Maija Geier was the first to notch a win for the Mustangs as she finished the 125-yard freestyle in a time of 1:10.85.
Olivia Sholl completed the 75-yard breaststroke with a final time of 51.24 to place first.
Natalie Bohnert picked up the final victory of the night for SMSU as she completed the 275-yard freestyle in a time of 2:49.75.
The Mustangs will face off with the Cougars once again tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
