ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team continued its tough non-conference schedule on Saturday suffering a 7-0 loss to Missouri Western State inside the Genesis Health Club.
SMSU suffered 6-2 losses in all three doubles matches as MWSU (5-1) earned the team point.
The Griffons won all six singles matches in straight sets.
SMSU, 1-8 overall, continues play on Monday with two matches in Russellville, Ark. The Mustangs will face Arkansas Tech at 10 a.m. before taking on Henderson State (Ark.) at 2 p.m.
