MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's swimming & diving team suffered a 170-129 setback to MSU Moorhead on Saturday in a dual meet held at Nemzek Pool.
Three Mustangs earned first place finishes on the afternoon.
Carla Nevi captured first in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:06.10, while winning the 200-yard backstroke at 2:11.36 and earning first place in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:32.43.
Maddy Storm captured first in the 100-yard breastroke at 1:07.90 and picked-up a first-place time of 2:31.18 in the 200-yard breastroke.
Maija Geier won the 100-yard backstroke touching the wall at 59.71.
SMSU's 200-yard medley relay team of
Emily Quanbeck, Storm,
Heather Arlen and
Lexi Weems earned second place with a time of 1:54.51.
