TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Southwest Minnesota State baseball team game versus Dickinson State (N.D.) on Thursday afternoon was canceled following three innings due to rain.

The Mustangs led 1-0 after three innings with Chase McDaniel driving home Cody Wichmann with an RBI ground out in the third.

SMSU starting pitcher Bennett Knapper tossed three no-hit innings with four strikeouts.

SMSU (6-7) returns to play on Friday with a 2 p.m. CST game versus Saginaw Valley State (Mich.) and a 5:30 p.m. CST match-up versus Walsh (Ohio).
