MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department is proud to announce more than $51,000 was raised during the third annual Southwest Minnesota State University M4L Day held on Thursday, April 25.
 
M4L Day (Mustangs for Life Day)—an online fundraising event—allowed donors the opportunity to give directly to the Athletic Department program of their choice. As of April 29, a total of $51,397 was raised by 247 donors.
 
"Mustang Nation has always been tremendous in their support of SMSU Athletics and our M4L Day totals reflect nothing different," said SMSU Director of Athletics, Jen Flowers. "We are grateful to each and every person who donated. The funds received directly impact our student-athletes and the experience they have as Mustangs. THANK YOU!"
 
The support of M4L Day helps provide an exceptional experience—both on and off the field of competition—to more than 400 SMSU student-athletes in many ways. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a powerful impact in the lives of SMSU student-athletes.
