MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University women's and men's cross country teams resume competition this Saturday at the Wayne State Wildcat Classic held at the Wayne Country Club.
 
The women's 6k race is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the men's 8k race slated for a 10:45 a.m. start.   
 
SMSU last competed at the MSU Moorhead Twilight in Moorhead, Minn., nearly two weeks ago. Macie Langstraat and Madison Marco led the SMSU women's team finishing 26th and 27th overall in the 5k race with times of 19:46. On the men's side, Carter Schwalbe led SMSU placing 36th in the 6k with a time of 19:46.
 
Following Saturday's meet, SMSU will run at the Dordt Classic on Oct. 12 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
